Our centre is located in a highly visible family friendly neighbourhood, doors are secure at all times, there are doorbells located at the main double doors and side entrance. The playgrounds have video monitoring, and our facility have monitored security alarm on all doors.
In addition, staff members have first aid and CPR training as well as safety and security skills. Staff receive ongoing specific training in curriculum development and issues.
The safety of children is of utmost importance to us. To track drop-offs and pickups of children, parents/guardians are required to sign children in/out on the daily attendance using HiMama application. Staff are not permitted to sign on behalf of parents/guardians. Generally, persons picking up children must be at least 18 years of age and bring valid government issued photo identification.

Does DENISA Childcare offer full time and part time care?DENISA Childcare offers flexible care from 1 to 5 days per week.

Does DENISA Childcare offer half-day programs?No, we do not offer ongoing half-day care.We offer half day care to support your child's transition to daycare.

What are the ages of children do you accept?DENISA Childcare cares for children from 18 months to 4/5 yars old

What are DENISA Childcare’s operating hours?We operate from 7:30AM to 6:00PM, Monday to Friday. We are closed on all statutory holidays.

Can I visit or take a tour before we enroll?Due to COVID-19, we have temporarily suspended in-person tours. Our Centre offers families virtual tours that can be scheduled through Zoom, Google Video Conferencing or MS Teams. You can also watch our Full Video Centre Tour to get a feel for our learning environment.

How Secure is DENISA Childcare’s facility?Our centre is located in a highly visible family friendly neighbourhood, doors are secure at all times, there are doorbells located at the main double doors and side entrance. Staff receive ongoing specific training in curriculum development and issues. Photo identification is required to drop off and pick up your child.

My child has extra education support needs. Can he/she attend DENISA Childcare?Yes, in almost all cases. Our Centre Supervisor will work with you to ensure we will be able to meet all your child’s extra support needs.

Does your centre offer before and after school care?No, DENISA Childcare does not offer Before and After school care.

How much does DENISA Childcare cost to attend?The cost of care depends on the age of your child and the number of days attended. Please contact our Centre Supervisor to discuss our tuition costs.

Does DENISA Childcare offer food?Yes, DENISA Childcare provides a variety of nutritional and culturally diverse foods that meet or exceed Canada’s Food Guide recommendations. We offer daily morning and afternoon snacks, a hot lunch, milk and water is available throughout the day. Each lunch contains a protein, a carbohydrate, vegetables, fruit, milk and water. Every week DENISA Childcare serves at least 1 fish, vegetarian meal, in addition to chicken, and/or turkey and beef. Our food has no additives, preservatives, artificial flavors or colors.
